Welcome to Annunciation Hockey Club's website! We are very proud to share with you a
brief history about our club, as well as some of the programs we provide.
OnAugust 14th, 1991 Annunciation Hockey Club was incorporated after yearsof being affiliated under the Knights of Columbus and Annunciationparish umbrellas.
Our Club supports non-denominational yearround hockey for boys and girls. We offer pre-season conditioning andchecking camps, as well as intermittent power skating and goalie camps.Our coaches are well rounded individuals, with training that providesthem with the skills necessary to do their jobs.
There are fourlevels of hockey in our club: Tom Thumb (4-6 years of age), Novice (7-8years of age), Atom (9-10 years of age), and Pee Wee (11-12 years ofage). The Club manages 2-3 teams per level as well as a hockeyequipment swap program. Each team has weekly practices and games. Wealso provide each player with individual and team pictures.
Thereare numerous events throughout the year to keep the teams busy. Frompre-season, Christmas and year end tournaments, to a Family Fun Nightat Hawrelak Park and an Adult Social. The adult social is an excellentway to get out and meet other members of the club; as well it works asan excellent fundraiser for the teams and the club.
We attemptto strengthen the values of children and parents through hockey sportinvolvement. Our program offers children in the community a high levelof fitness and personal development. We encourage fair-play andparticipation in our hockey program and help our players develop newskills. We as a Club encourage fun in competitive hockey.
